I have spent years building AI systems for businesses, from LLMs and agents to the data pipelines and infrastructure behind them. It is genuinely powerful technology when it is pointed at the right problem.
What struck me is the gap. Big companies are racing ahead, backed by large budgets and teams of consultants. Smaller businesses, the ones that keep the economy running, are being left to figure it out alone, drowning in hype and sold expensive assessments that lead nowhere.
So I started doing the opposite. Sitting with smaller businesses, cutting through the noise, and finding the handful of things that genuinely save them time. No thick reports, no enterprise price tag. Just practical AI that earns its keep, and I share what I learn along the way in the open.
